In 1941, Orson Welles brought ‘Citizen Kane’ to the big screen. This masterpiece is considered by many critics to be the best film of all time. It is a perfect example of how a character is often only fascinating in flashback.

Rarities of strong character and classics of ambitious viticulture are presented in abundance in the walk-in Othello Vinotheque - ready to be discovered and savoured. Cigars from Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and other historic producing countries are stored in the humidors.

Most guests visit us for an aperitif before dinner - or to finish off afterwards. But some like to spend the whole evening with us. For those who don't want to leave the Orson Wine & Cigar Lounge for an evening, we serve selected snacks such as pizza, caviar on pane carasau or Percebes mussels with lemon butter.

We have set up the Citizen Kane Cigar Lounge exclusively for our passionate cigar aficionados. In the glow of the flickering open fire and in the haze of the spicy aroma, the past comes alive - that's how enjoyable it is to indulge in the present. It's quite possible that this creates a magical atmosphere, as if the gifted storyteller Orson Welles were joining you.

The day ends with an aperitif, accompanied by appetisers.We will serve you the delicious and precious Percebes mussels or Baeri Premier Cru caviar from France, classically prepared on fine pieces of Pane Carasau from Sardinia with a little sour cream and chives.

You can enjoy your meal in the lounge, in the air-conditioned or heated conservatory or in the Citizen Kane Cigar Lounge, which is reserved exclusively for cigar-smoking connoisseurs.

Your enjoyment time with us is accompanied by a Rémy Martin Louis XIII Grand Champagne, a Cohiba Espléndidos, an Orson Othello Toro Grande, a Patoro Gran Añejo - nota bene: the Orson Wine & Cigar Lounge is an ambassador for Patoro - or a simple, no less exciting Leaf by Oscar Maduro.
